Krvavec, one of the best ski resorts in Slovenia, is located in the Kamnish Alps to the north of Ljubljana.

Krvavec
It is located in the valley of Logar, at 1.971m altitude. It offers to skiers 25km of slopes and numerous accommodation facilities such as hotels and even a daycare for your children.
The distribution of the trails is very interesting: 20 percent are reserved for beginners, 60 percent for leisure and 20 percent for professionals and snowboarders. To enable you to reach the peaks, 13 lifts are available with a total capacity of 13,500 people. For surfers there are special tracks with jumps. You will be able to practice other interesting activities thanks to toboggan runs, a fitness program and a solarium. For entertainment and nightlife you will find restaurants, bars and nightclubs.
The season runs from late November to early May and the period with the best snow is in February and March.
Krvavec is only 10 km from Ljubljana’s International Airport, from where you can take a taxi or a bus that goes directly to the station. The nearest train station is in Kranj, 17 km away.
Many tourists recommend visiting Ljubljana, the capital, which is located only 32 km from the mountain.
From the outside the igloo village Krvavec looks like snow mounds, but if you look from the inside you will discover a labyrinth of tunnels that connect the igloos to each other. The village is rebuilt every year.
For visitors, several types of accommodation are available ranging from standard rooms to romantic packages. The snow is an excellent insulator, which is why the temperature in the village is between 0 and 5 degrees. Warm up with a drink or with your fur sleeping bag.
