The British magazine “Hello” called the National Park of Plitvice Lakes in Croatia a “water paradise” in an article dedicated to the park. National Park of Plitvice Lakes is the most famous park in Croatia and begins to have a worldwide reputation. You should not miss to visit this place if you travel in Croatia.

The article explains that Croatia become an essential tourist destination in Europe. In addition to Plitvice, the magazine rewarded the Adriatic coast by calling it one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean with the cities of Dubrovnik, Split and Sibenik.

The National Park of Plitvice Lakes, with an area of 296 square kilometers, is located between Zagreb and Zadar. It was created the 8 April 1949 and added to the World Heritage List of UNESCO in 1979. It has sixteen interlinked lakes and 92 small rivers and waterfalls, but also a huge surrounding forest. It welcome nearly a million visitors per year.
